Hey there! I’m Katie, and I write about epic battles, ordinary miracles, and the grace-wrought intersection of longing and wonder.

I’ve always believed in the power of stories: the ones we find in books, the ones we craft into books, and—most importantly—the ones you and I are living every single day. The stories we live inform the stories we tell, and the stories we tell can shape the way that we live, and that’s a beautiful connectivity I love to explore.

In my day job, I’m a fantasy editor and fiction coach who helps writers shape their story ideas and life experiences into vibrant tales of courage and hope. My own writing has appeared in a variety of print and online publications, from flash-fiction anthologies to the liturgy collection Every Moment Holy Volume III: The Work of the People.
